Recipe for Success?

I was just about to turn off my computer for the weekend when I overheard Radio Five talking about a recent Guinness survey about rugby players and their weird and wonderful pre-match superstitions.

If I'm honest the only reason my ears pricked up was because of the mention of rugby and broccoli in the same sentence - I knew it couldn't be a new name for bruised and battered ears, although it certainly wouldn't be a bad one! I'm guessing you're intrigued where this is going....

Well, after a bit more research on the web, I found a list of some of the quirky habits adopted by the nation's fit and strong, but are they enough to help us win the World Cup Final?

Jonny Wilkinson...
never warms up in his England shirt and always wears the same t-shirt under it (Hackett obviously don't pay him enough!)

Lewis Moody...
always goes to the cinema the night before a game. He also has a Redbull before every game. Shame on him!

Jason Robinson...
likes to be out of the tunnel first.

Mike Catt...
always touches his ear when the camera pans across the team during the National Anthem.

Matt Stevens...
wears white boot laces.

Mark Cueto...
eats beans on toast and puts his left boot on first.

...and the one you've all been waiting for...drum roll...

Martin Corry...
eats broccoli for breakfast on match days. So if you have kids or a partner who won't eat broccoli just tell them how big and strong it's made our Martin!

Love Charlotte x
